The 2025 edition
On Monday, January 6, 2025, the Municipality of Vicalvi organized the traditional "The Befana is Coming!" festival in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II, starting at 3:00 PM. As per tradition, the old lady descended among the village children to distribute stockings and sweets, while the Municipal Administration offered roasted chestnuts, snacks, and an aperitif open to everyone, adults and children alike.
The official poster, published on the Municipality's website in early January, specified that in case of rain, the event would be held indoors at the former kindergarten. An afternoon of genuine celebration that closed the holiday season in the small village of the Comino Valley, in the province of Frosinone, confirming Vicalvi's dedication to community festivals for families.
