Composed by Rossini and first performed in 1816, The Barber of Seville is one of the most beloved and performed operas in the world, famous for its musical brilliance and for characters that have entered the collective imagination, such as the cunning Figaro. Bringing it outdoors, in a city square, means bringing the great operatic repertoire closer to a wide audience, in line with the spirit of BA Estate to spread culture in the city's locations and neighborhoods.
