Edition 2025 — Testo...Pretesto

The seventh edition of the Testo...Pretesto Festival took place in Fidenza from May 14 to 18, 2025, with the title 'I have never enough words,' a verse by the poet Mariangela Gualtieri. Most of the events were held in a large marquee set up in Piazza Garibaldi, renamed 'Met@,' featuring readings aloud, poetry symposia, concerts, and literary marathons.

The seventh edition of the literary festival in Fidenza took place from May 14 to 18, 2025, taking its title from a verse by Mariangela Gualtieri on the importance of written and read words.

The heart of the event was a large marquee, resembling a circus tent, set up in Piazza Garibaldi and renamed 'Met@.' It hosted readings aloud, a poetry symposium, concerts, and literary marathons. Among the guests were poet Mariangela Gualtieri, architect Mario Botta in dialogue with philosopher Aldo Colonetti, and writer Luigi Garlando. An edition aimed at the entire community of Fidenza, in Emilia-Romagna.
