Testa di Turco Festival

In 2025, the Testa di Turco Festival confirmed its bond with the Feast of the Madonna delle Milizie, patron saint of Scicli, celebrated on the last Saturday of May. In Piazza Italia and the historic centre, visitors were able to taste the famous turban-shaped pastry, filled with custard or sweet ricotta and accompanied by local Moscato wine, in its classic and gourmet variations.

In addition to the tastings, the programme offered food stalls, craft markets, musical performances, and traditional dances, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Iblean culture and participate in the religious celebrations in honour of the Madonna delle Milizie, in the heart of the Val di Noto.
