Terracotta Whistle Fair

The 36th edition of the Terracotta Whistle Fair was held in Rutigliano between January 17 and 26, 2025. The National Competition proposed the theme "AI Artisanal Intelligence – A journey into the future," inviting potters from all over Italy to engage in a dialogue between artisanal tradition and new technologies.

The event opened on January 17th, the feast day of Saint Anthony Abbot, with the blessing of the animals at the Church of San Domenico and the fair in the Municipal Pine Forest. During the weekend of January 25-26, the historic center hosted clay modeling workshops, exhibitions, debates, and video-mapping on the Norman Tower dedicated to the origins of the tradition. Actor and host Beppe Convertini was named the 2025 Whistle Ambassador. The competition awards ceremony was held on January 30th.
