Terra di Siena International Film Festival

The 29th edition of the Terra di Siena International Film Festival was held in Siena from October 7 to 11, 2025, with main screenings at the Cinema Nuovo Pendola and the awards ceremony at the Teatro dei Rozzi. The program featured twenty films in and out of competition, as well as fourteen short films and documentaries, four of which came from the twin festival in Chongqing, China.

Among the guests were actor Michael Madsen, honored with an honorary award, director Jane Spencer, actress Kathleen Chalfant, awarded as best actress for Familiar Touch, and masterclasses with Giorgio Diritti, Carlo Rovelli, and Loris Lai. The Sanese d'Oro went to The School Duel by Todd Wiseman, while the Grand Prix was awarded to Diary of a Women by Angelo Boffa. Admission to screenings was free.

The 29th edition alternated screenings, red carpets, masterclasses, and meetings with authors between the Cinema Nuovo Pendola and the Teatro dei Rozzi. Among the titles presented were La ragazza di Bube, Spirit World with Catherine Deneuve, Afrodite with Ambra Angiolini, Familiar Touch, and I bambini di Gaza by Loris Lai. The awards ceremony was held on October 11 with a final show.
