Terra del Gattopardo MTB Rally

The 2025 edition of the Terra del Gattopardo MTB Rally, the eleventh regional mountain bike gathering, was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Palma di Montechiaro, in the province of Agrigento. Cyclists, starting from Piazza Santa Rosalia, tackled the approximately 32-kilometer route with 650 meters of elevation gain, passing through Marina di Palma, Chiaramonte Castle, the Facciomare district with the Fontana della Spina, the beaches of Malerba, and the striking Rocca Tenna.

In this edition as well, the event combined sport and tourism: while enthusiasts pedaled, their families were able to participate in a guided tour of the city's monuments, from the Benedictine Monastery to the Ducal Palace, and from the Mother Church to the Collegio Church. The day concluded with the traditional refreshment break featuring local products.
