Termini Imerese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Termini Imerese Carnival confirmed the vitality of the carnival tradition in Termini Imerese, in the province of Palermo. Among the innovations announced by the organizers were the return of the allegorical float parade to the upper part of the city, the introduction of walking groups, and video mapping shows.

As every year, the U Nannu and A Nanna masks led the festivities through parades, music, and moments of popular tradition, up to the customary burning of the effigy that closes the Carnival period and marks the beginning of Lent.
