Termal Bologna Marathon

The Termal Bologna Marathon 2025 took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with the slogan 'Taste the Run', a play on words dedicated to Bologna 'la Grassa' and its culinary tradition. Approximately 7,000 athletes participated in the three competitive races - marathon, 30 km dei Portici, and Run Tune Up half marathon - joined by another 3,000 participants for non-competitive activities, exceeding a total of 10,000 runners.

In the marathon, Kenyan Martin Cheruiyot triumphed in 2h21'55", a new race record, while among the women, Giorgia Venturi won in 2h53'02". In the 30 km dei Portici, Davide Parisi won among the men and Federica Cicognani among the women. The start was from Via Irnerio and the finish, as tradition dictates, in Piazza Maggiore.
