The 60th Tellina Festival

In 2025, the Tellina Festival reached the milestone of its 60th edition, held at the Borghetto dei Pescatori in Ostia (Municipality of Rome, Lazio) from August 22 to 31. The tellina was the absolute star, with over 4,000 kilograms of mollusks prepared according to the traditional Roman recipe for spaghetti with telline, alongside fried fish and seafood dishes from the coast.

Ten evenings filled with music, meetings, and markets accompanied the festival, which culminated on Saturday, August 30, with the rite of the Marriage with the Sea and the boat procession in honor of the Borghetto's maritime tradition. A special edition that celebrated six decades of the event's history and the deep bond between Ostia and its sea.
