Edition 2025 — Teatro nei Borghi
The 2025/2026 season of Teatro nei Borghi opened in autumn 2025 in Varzo, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, with two high-impact events. The inauguration featured Peppe Servillo with Fútbol – storie di calcio at the Church of San Giorgio, followed in December by a social theatre performance dedicated to the figure of Giacomo Matteotti, all organized by compagniadellozio.
The Teatro nei Borghi festival by compagniadellozio inaugurated its 2025/2026 season in Varzo, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, with Peppe Servillo in Fútbol – storie di calcio, based on the tales of Osvaldo Soriano, accompanied on piano by Natalio Luis Mangalavite in the Church of San Giorgio. On 4 December 2025, Matteotti (anatomia di un fascismo) followed, a social theatre performance dedicated to a crucial chapter in Italian history.
