Edition 2025 — Maschere e Tamburi

The 23rd edition of the Teatro di Maschere e Tamburi took place in Capurso from June 26 to 29, 2025, in the courtyard of the San Giovanni Bosco School, with performances starting at 8:30 PM. Four evenings of amateur theatre featuring comedy, satire, and musicals, with companies from Apulia, as part of the summer programme of the Municipality of Capurso.

The 23rd edition of the Teatro di Maschere e Tamburi brought Capurso to life from Thursday, June 26 to Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the courtyard of the San Giovanni Bosco School, with evening performances starting at 8:30 PM.

The programme featured four evenings of amateur theatre:

June 26 — Mi sparo 1, Piccola Ribalta
June 27 — Stasera ovulo, G.A.T. Peppino Mancini
June 28 — Colpi di maschera, Onirica Teatro
June 29 — Che pasticcio, Mrs Peach, Compagnia della Lira

Organized by the Associazione Culturale Maschere e Tamburi, the festival confirmed its popular vocation, blending comedy, satire, and musicals, as one of the key theatrical events of the Capurso summer.
