The artistic direction of the national circuit is by Aurelio Gatti.

Teatri di Pietra 2025 in Montevago: seven evenings of myth and memory

The 2025 edition, part of the 21st edition of the Sicilian circuit, brought seven performances to Montevago from July 27 to August 28, among the ruins of the old Mother Church. Opening the festival on July 27 was "Pirandello questo, codesto, quello" by Salvatore Ferlita and Sergio Vespertino. This was followed by "Medusa" (August 3), "De Rerum Natura" from Lucretius directed by Aurelio Gatti (August 11), "Plutus or the gift of the end of the world" from Aristophanes (August 12), "Vivere diVersi" by Miriam Palma (August 20), and "Odisseo superstar" by the Collettivo V.A.N. (August 24).

The grand finale, on Thursday, August 28 at 9:00 PM, was entrusted to "Andromeda and Perseus" with Ernesto Maria Ponte and Clelia Cucco, a poetic rewrite and direction by Gianfranco Perriera, produced by Cooperativa Agricantus: the last Sicilian stop of an acclaimed summer tour, blending irony and myth in the evocative setting of the Belice site.
