Edition 2025 — Teatri di Pietra Akrai
The 2025 edition of Teatri di Pietra at the Ancient Theatre of Akrai, in Palazzolo Acreide, consisted of three evenings in July included in the city's summer programme "Palazzolo è", promoted by the municipal administration.
The programme kicked off on Thursday 24 July with "Andromeda e Perseo", inspired by classical myth, and continued on Sunday 27 July with the dance performance "La Fabbrica degli Angeli senza Tempo", choreographed and directed by Aurelio Gatti. The festival concluded on Thursday 31 July with "Pirandello Questo, Codesto e Quello", which featured Sergio Vespertino interpreting the great Sicilian playwright. The shows took place in the evening in the evocative setting of the Greek theatre, part of the Akrai Archaeological Area.
