Te cumpà me

The 2025 edition of "Te cumpà me" in Scontrone was held from February 26 to 28, 2025, under the patronage of musA (Connessioni per la Cultura). The propitiatory rite through the village streets took place on the evenings of February 26 and 27, with the procession of cowbells and the dialect formula "Te cumpà me, ess marz ca mo se ne vè. Marz è menute e febbraie se n'è jut".

On February 28, in the afternoon, the conference "End-of-winter rituals between Abruzzo and Molise" was held, with the participation of scholars and archaeologists. In the evening, the final ritual in the square led to the burning of the straw effigies, followed by the traditional convivial evening organized by the Scontrone Hikers Association.
