TAU - United Ancient Theatres

In 2025, TAU - Teatri Antichi Uniti celebrated its 27th edition with 29 performances in 16 historical and archaeological sites in the Marche region, organized by AMAT. At the Cloister of Sant'Agostino in Ascoli Piceno, three events were held, all starting at 9:30 PM:

• July 24 — Il canto di Ulisse (The Song of Ulysses) with Flavio Albanese and the Quartetto Vocale Faraualla, directed by Marinella Anaclerio: a journey into Ulysses' world and the imagery of Homer's Odyssey.
• July 30 — La risata nobile (The Noble Laugh) with Tullio Solenghi, conceived by Sergio Maifredi: an ironic exploration from Aristophanes to Achille Campanile.
• August 8 — Coppie mitiche (Mythical Couples) with Enrico Lo Verso and Serena Guida, directed by Alessandra Pizzi: an intertwining of words, music, and dance dedicated to the great love stories of mythology.
