Targa Florio Classica 2025

The 49th edition of the Targa Florio Classica was held from October 16th to 19th, 2025, with the departure ceremony on Thursday, October 16th, from the central Piazza Verdi in Palermo. The 596.9 km route was divided into two stages.

The first stage, named "On the Salt Pan Roads" (approx. 293 km), led crews into the Trapani area toward Marsala, the evocative Stagnone, and the Cantine Florio, also crossing the extraordinary archaeological area of Selinunte, between temples and the sea. The second stage, "On the Madonie Hairpin Bends" (303.86 km), wound through the curves that made the history of the "Cursa." The Automobile Club of Palermo permanently named the "TARGA" special stage in memory of Professor Ninni Vaccarella. 147 crews with nearly 230 participants took part, competing for the Italian Grand Events Championship.
