Edition 2025 — Tarantella Players Gathering
The 14th edition of the Tarantella Players Gathering was held on Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the historic center of Monte Sant'Angelo. Numerous groups from the Southern folk tradition performed on stage and through the alleys, including the Cantori di Carpino, the Cantori di Monte Sant'Angelo, Assurd, Tarantula Garganica, and Ars Nova Napoli.
The program featured a mix of dance workshops, labs (ranging from macramé to traditional work and migration songs of the South), exhibitions, guided tours, and evening concerts in Largo Dauno, culminating in the 'Suonata di Saluto' in Piazza de Galganis. It was an edition of overwhelming energy that confirmed the tarantella as the cornerstone of Gargano's identity and culture.
