Taormina Carnival 2025: "Color Your Dreams"

From February 22 to March 4, 2025, Taormina celebrated its Carnival with the theme "Color Your Dreams," organized by the municipal administration. A rich program of free events enlivened the historic center and the hamlets of the municipality.

The festival kicked off on February 22 and 23 with "Taormina Incanto," a music festival at the Palazzo dei Congressi, followed by the "Le Allegre Mascherine" theater workshops for children in Trappitello and Mazzeo. Starting February 27, the "Fordream" entertainment arrived with games, dancing, and inflatables in the squares, while on February 28, the theater show "The King Carnival Fair" was performed.

The heart of the festival took place between March 1 and March 4 with allegorical float parades along Corso Umberto, accompanied by musical evenings such as "The Mask Dance" with Cecilia Gayle and a concert by Los Locos. The closing event on March 4 brought "Taormina in Celebration" to Piazza Duomo, filled with masks and music.
