Tammurr Festival

The 36th edition of the Tammurr Festival was held on July 5 and 6, 2025, in Grumo Appula (BA), with its epicentre in Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the streets of the centre.

Saturday, July 5, the day began at 6:00 PM with roving music by the Bassa Banda di Grumo Appula, culminating at 9:00 PM with the show by the Tamburellisti di Otranto in the square. Sunday, July 6, the morning was enlivened by roving music from bands and groups, while in the afternoon, from 6:00 PM, the parade took place with folk performances on stage.

Guest ensembles included: the Storica Bassa Musica di Grumo Appula and the Gruppo Bandistico "Don Giovanni D'Erasmo", the Premiata Bassa Musica di Laterza, the Storica Premiata Bassa Musica di Carbonara, the Bassa Musica di Terlizzi, the Storica Premiata Tradizionale Bassa Musica di Molfetta, the Gruppo Folk di Ruvo di Puglia, and I Giganti di Varapodio from Calabria.

The event, organized by the Associazione Festival di Tammurr with the support of the Puglia Region ("Il Vento Caldo delle Murge") and the City of Grumo Appula, was free to attend.
