Tambourine Players Festival

The 2025 Tambourine Players Festival was held in Diso, in the Province of Lecce, on the evenings of August 20 and 21. The event confirmed its popular vocation, with the tambourine at the center of the stage and the rhythms of pizzica marking the two days of celebration in the heart of the Salento village.

The program alternated between performances by traditional music groups, dance sessions open to the public, and songs in the Salento dialect, in a convivial atmosphere enlivened by food stalls with typical local products. The festival confirmed itself as one of the most heartfelt summer events for the Diso community and an opportunity to rediscover the folk traditions of lower Salento.
