Edition 2025 — Tales from the Territory
The first edition
On Saturday, May 17, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM, the Villetta Social LAB on Via degli Armatori hosted the first edition of the Book Festival - Tales from the Territory, promoted by the Municipality VIII of Rome. The festival offered a journey through fiction and non-fiction to explore the identity of the neighborhoods of Garbatella, Ostiense, San Paolo, and Tor Marancia.
The literary path started from the classics linked to these places - from Carlo Levi to Pier Paolo Pasolini - to reach eight contemporary voices that tell the story of the territory, between local history, memory, and thrillers. The day was enlivened by book stalls, stands, videos, neighborhood choirs, and a bar area with aperitifs and an evening tavern, with free admission.
