In 2025, San Polo Matese celebrated the Taccozze and Beans Festival on September 29th, for the Feast of Saint Michael. The diamond-shaped Matese fresh pasta, dressed with mountain beans, was served at the village stands, in an evening of celebration accompanied by folk music.
The Taccozze and Beans Festival in 2025 renewed the appointment in San Polo Matese (CB) on September 29th, linked to the Feast of Saint Michael. At the stands of the Matese village, taccozze — diamond-shaped fresh pasta made from water and flour — were served, dressed with mountain beans, in an evening of conviviality accompanied by folk music. An event that confirms the town's connection with the peasant cuisine of inland Molise.
