Tacchinando — Tacchino alla Canzanese Festival

The 2025 edition of Tacchinando was held in Canzano (Teramo) from July 23 to 28, 2025, confirming the success of the festival dedicated to Tacchino alla Canzanese. In the historic center, the stalls offered the famous boneless turkey served cold with jelly, alongside traditional Teramo dishes like gnocchi with zucchini and sausage and mazzarelle alla teramana, as well as the typical storione dessert. During the evenings, it was possible to visit the Embroidery and Lace Exhibition and participate in guided walks to discover the churches and historic sites of the village, in a setting that attracted numerous visitors to the Abruzzo hinterland.
