Edition 2025 — Symbolism in Italy
The 2025 edition of the Magnani-Rocca Foundation's major spring exhibition in Mamiano di Traversetolo (Parma) was "Flora. The Enchantment of Flowers in Italian Art from the 20th Century to Today", open from March 15 to June 29, 2025. Curated by Daniela Ferrari and Stefano Roffi, in collaboration with Mart in Trento and Rovereto, the exhibition brought together over 150 masterpieces dedicated to the floral theme.
From the symbolism of Segantini and Previati to the avant-gardes of Balla and Depero, up to contemporary languages by Kounellis, De Maria, Gilardi, Schifano, and Paolini, the exhibition explored the flower as a symbol of grace, an explosion of color, and silent meditation, complementing the visit to the permanent collections and the Romantic Park.
