Edition 2025 — Suzzara Prize

The 52nd edition of the Suzzara Prize renewed the appointment with contemporary art in 2025 at the Suzzara Prize Museum Gallery. Faithful to the formula that has linked competition, exhibition, and popular jury since 1948, the event called artists to engage with a current theme, enriching the historic city collection.

In 2025, the Suzzara Prize confirmed its role as a key event for contemporary art in the Province of Mantua. As per tradition consolidated since 1948, artists submitted new works inspired by the edition's theme, subjected to both the jury's judgment and the vote of the characteristic popular jury composed of the citizens of Suzzara.

The exhibition of the selected works, set up at the Suzzara Prize Museum Gallery, allowed the public to discover the new acquisitions that enrich one of Italy's longest-running and most significant collections, a testament to over seventy years of artistic research.
