Edition 2025 — Suoni sul Lago
In 2025, the Suoni sul Lago Folk Festival returned from August 25 to 30 to the three villages overlooking Lake Barrea, in the province of L'Aquila. True to its vocation as a "festival of affections," the event animated the squares of Barrea, Civitella Alfedena, and Villetta Barrea with free evening concerts, showcasing folk, traditional, and world music.
Alongside the concerts, the program included educational workshops on folk instruments and dances, as well as moments of conviviality that extended the festivities through the village streets, confirming the intimate and community-focused atmosphere that has characterized this event in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park for over twenty years.
