Edition 2025 — Summer Solstice Festival

The Summer Solstice Festival is a recently established event in the summer calendar of Nicolosi. Promoted by the Municipality in the Etna village in the province of Catania, the festival celebrates the summer solstice by drawing on the peasant traditions of the territory and the flavors of Etna, in the heart of the town's historic center.

The Summer Solstice Festival is part of the summer initiatives with which the Municipality of Nicolosi promotes the folk traditions and peasant culture of the Etna slope, in the province of Catania.

The event is linked to the town's Museum of Peasant Civilization and the rural heritage of Etna, offering moments of celebration, conviviality, and the rediscovery of the typical flavors of the territory in the month of June. An appointment that fits into the rich summer program of Nicolosi, a village known as the Gateway to Etna.
