Edition 2025 — Solstice at the Gurfa
The 2025 edition of the Summer Solstice at the Gurfa Caves in Alia (PA) opened at 10:30 AM with a guided tour led by architect and art historian Carmelo Montagna. From 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, the central moment: the "Hierophany of Light", with the observation of the solar effect inside the Tholos and the famous "dematerializing effect", accompanied by a live performance for female voices, shamanic drums, and Tibetan singing bowls by Lucina Lanzara. In the evening, at 7:00 PM, the "Sorsi d'Estate" tasting featured typical local products, followed by a sunset aperitif with music. At 9:30 PM, a live set by artist Davide Ambrogio was followed by stargazing with the Star Freedom association. A day that wove together archaeology, music, and conviviality in the heart of the Madonie, in the province of Palermo.
