Summer Marathon of Opera

The 2025 edition of the Summer Marathon of Opera, the fifth, was held from June 26 to 28 in the garden of the Capuchin Friars' Convent in Castel San Pietro Terme.

• Thursday, June 26 — in the morning, a musical workshop for children with Greta Bolognini, Anna Flores, and Roberto Ferrari Melega; in the evening, a concert celebrating the bicentennial of Johann Strauss with sopranos Anna Flores and Paola Cigna, tenor Roberto Ferrari Melega, and dancers.
• Friday, June 27 — an afternoon of poetry, narration, and music; in the evening, a selection of pieces from Broadway with Daria Mai, Laura Cavarretta, and Francesco Uselli.
• Saturday, June 28 — in the afternoon, the opera of Cocteau and Poulenc with mezzo-soprano Yui Mochizuki and Marco Belluzzi on piano; closing with a lyrical recital by baritone Romano Franceschetto.

Admission was free, organized by the Pro Loco of Castel San Pietro Terme and the Associazione Scena Musicale di Bologna.
