Edition 2025 — Summer in the Square

In 2025, Summer in the Square accompanied the summer in Guardabosone with a rich programme of events between June and September: performances, music, food festivals, and community moments in the most charming spots of the Valsesia village. Among the most anticipated events was the Festival of Lights on August 30th, with the town illuminated by thousands of small flames.

The 2025 edition of Summer in the Square brought Guardabosone to life throughout the beautiful season, confirming the formula of a festival spread across various spaces of the village. Between village feasts, theatrical performances, live music, and gastronomic appointments, the most evocative moment was the Magical Festival of Lights on August 30th, 2025, an evening when the town's lighting is turned off and thousands of small candles transform alleys and squares into a fairytale setting, with museums open, music, and local flavours. A summer that confirmed Guardabosone as one of the most vibrant realities in lower Valsesia, in the Province of Vercelli.
