Summer in Oncino

The summer of 2025 in Oncino confirmed the bond between the Po Valley village and its alpine and Occitan roots. On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the 75th Alpine Festival took place, with a gathering in Piazza Roma, flag-raising, wreath-laying at the war memorial, Holy Mass, and a communal lunch; on this occasion, a commemorative plaque was presented to the head of the Oncino Alpine group for his twenty-five years of leadership.

The season continued with the Assumption festivities on August 15th and other summer events organized by the Municipality of Oncino, in the Province of Cuneo, including community festivals, religious moments, and excursions on the Monviso mountains.
