Edition 2025 — Saint Giordano Ansalone Festival

The 2025 edition of the festivities in honor of Saint Hyacinth Giordano Ansalone took place in Santo Stefano Quisquina from July 31 to August 3, featuring the preparatory triduum and the solemn feast on the first Sunday of August. Three days of rosary, litanies, and holy masses presided over by guest priests and religious figures preceded the final Sunday, which culminated in the mass at the Mother Church and the town procession with the co-patron's statue.

2025 Festivities: from July 31 to August 3

The 2025 edition opened on Thursday, July 31 with the start of the triduum: rosary, litanies, and prayers to Saint Giordano, followed by holy mass. Friday, August 1, alongside the evening celebrations, featured the presentation of a book dedicated to Saint Thomas Aquinas. Saturday, August 2, the day of the Pardon of Assisi, included confessions for the plenary indulgence, the rosary, and mass with a floral tribute in Piazza San Giordano.

On Sunday, August 3, the solemn feast day, Eucharistic celebrations were held in the village churches: the College of Mary, the Church of the Carmine, the Mother Church, and the Hermitage of Santa Rosalia. In the evening, the mass in the Mother Church was followed by the town procession with the saint's statue through the streets of Santo Stefano Quisquina, the most anticipated and attended moment of the entire festival.
