Edition 2025 — Red Garlic Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sulmona Red Garlic Festival, the 30th, took place on Friday, July 11th, and Saturday, July 12th, in Campo di Fano (Prezza, AQ), in Piazza Peppino Impastato. A special edition that coincided with the 30th anniversary of the Pro Loco Nicola Di Pietro, the event's organizer. With children's games from 7:30 PM, food stalls from 8:00 PM, and live music, the festival once again celebrated the prized red garlic of the Peligna Valley.

The 30th edition and the 30th anniversary of the Pro Loco

In 2025, the Sulmona Red Garlic Festival reached the milestone of its 30th edition, celebrated alongside the 30th anniversary of the Pro Loco Nicola Di Pietro of Campo di Fano. The event took place on Friday, July 11th, and Saturday, July 12th, in Piazza Peppino Impastato, in the hamlet of the Municipality of Prezza (AQ).

The program included games and entertainment for children from 7:30 PM and the opening of food stalls from 8:00 PM, featuring arrosticini, fried pizza, zampanelle, bruschetta, pasta, and dishes based on red garlic from the Peligna Valley. The musical portion featured singer Fabiana Conti on Friday, with Italian pop and folk atmospheres, while on Saturday, DJ Antonio Pomponio enlivened the evening with music and group dances. There was also space dedicated to the direct sale of Peligna garlic.
