Suggestioni 2025 at MAXXI L'Aquila

In 2025, the Suggestioni series at MAXXI L'Aquila, at Palazzo Ardinghelli, was developed into two distinct screening cycles, both with free admission upon reservation. The first cycle, from Saturday, February 8 to Saturday, April 12, offered ten weekly evening appointments inspired by the themes of the museum's exhibitions, with titles such as Poor Things by Yorgos Lanthimos, The Sound of Noise, and Vesuvio.

From October 3, a second cycle returned, curated by Federico Vittorini, president of the L'Aquila Film Festival association, with works inspired by the exhibition 'True Colors. Tessuti: movimento, colori, identità'. The autumn program was opened by Suspiria by Dario Argento, in a season that confirmed the bond between auteur cinema and contemporary art in the Abruzzo capital.
