17th South Tyrol Moonlight Classic Alpe di Siusi

The 2025 edition brought over 200 athletes from 20 nations to the Alpe di Siusi for the classic night-time cross-country skiing race in classic technique. In the 30 km, Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov won in 1h18'56"2, just 14 seconds ahead of Lorenzo Busin; in the women's category, Anna Schmidhofer took the victory. In the 15 km, success went to Alessandro Chiocchetti from Moena in 34'32"4 and the German Hanna Hermann.

Despite some patches of fog, the tracks were in perfect condition and the race took place without any precipitation. About 140 volunteers contributed to the organization, confirming the Moonlight Classic as one of the most evocative Nordic skiing events in South Tyrol.
