Südtirol Festival Merano 2025 – the 40th edition
The 40th edition of the Südtirol Festival Merano.Meran took place from August 16 to September 22, 2025, celebrating forty years of one of the most important classical music festivals in the Alps. The program intertwined major symphonic concerts in the Art Nouveau atmosphere of the Merano Kursaal with chamber music, crossover projects, and the sacred music series mystica.
The latter brought spiritual music to the churches of the Merano region and neighboring villages, in the province of Bolzano, with events in the parish churches of Lana, St. Leonhard in Passeier, and Marlengo. A model confirmed for the 2026 edition, which brings the choral series to the parish church of Nalles.
