Sudestival – Italian Film Festival

The 25th edition of Sudestival celebrated twenty-five years of the quality Italian film festival in Monopoli, in the Province of Bari. From January 25 to March 15, 2025, the Teatro Radar hosted 52 screenings, 9 sections, and 15 awards over 27 days of programming. The edition featured a retrospective dedicated to Paolo Villaggio and two international focuses: one on Armenia, in collaboration with the Golden Apricot International Film Festival of Yerevan, and one on Albania. The guest of the final night was the actress Lunetta Savino, awarded with the Apulia Excellence prize. The Faro d'Autore of the City of Monopoli and the Santa Teresa Resort Prize went to "Anywhere Anytime" by Milad Tangshir, while the Apulia Film Commission «Carlo Delle Piane» Prize for best screenplay was awarded to "L'Albero" by Sara Petraglia.
