Stuffed Pepper and Tocchese Bean Festival

Ninth edition, August 11 and 12, 2025

In 2025, the festival confirmed its historic calendar, occupying the evenings of August 11th and 12th in Piazza Municipio in Tocco Caudio. The stalls opened in the evening, around 8:00 PM, remaining active until late with the two specialties that give the event its name: the peparuolo 'mbuttinato, the stuffed pepper of Sannio peasant cuisine, and the Tocchese bean, a local variety of the Taburno Massif.

As per tradition, the gastronomic aspect was accompanied by live music and displays of local products, with free admission to the area. The organization was handled by the «Spitaletto Tontoli Filippo» Oratory with local volunteers, in an edition that paved the way for the tenth anniversary in 2026.
