Strigliozzi Festival 2025

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Castel di Tora celebrated the 28th edition of the Strigliozzi Festival, confirming the event on the last Sunday of September. Starting at 12:00 PM, in the large covered area set up by the Pro Loco of Castel di Tora, the distribution of strigliozzi topped with tomato sauce began, accompanied by wood-fired bread, veal stew with white wine, traditional pastries, and local wine.

Among the alleys of the village overlooking Lake Turano, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, visitors were able to stroll through stalls of local products and crafts, enjoying the landscape of the Rieti Sabina region. A shuttle bus service connected the parking areas to the historic center for the duration of the event.
