Strawberry Festival – Mediterranean Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 Strawberry Festival was held at the Ippodromo del Mediterraneo in Syracuse on April 30 and May 1. April 30 opened at 3:00 PM with a food court, artisan market, children's area, pony rides, and at 3:30 PM, the Radio Fragola Show. On May 1st, the Western Show Quarter Horse Trophy took place at 1:30 PM, followed by folk music from I Cumpari at 3:00 PM, and at 3:30 PM, the highly anticipated galloping races for the City of Syracuse Prize. In the evening, at 6:30 PM, a DJ set and the distribution of the traditional 600 kg giant strawberry cake, prepared by chef Salvatore Colombo, highlighted the sweet Camarosa strawberry of Cassibile.
