Strangolagalli Painting Extempore – Franco Tomassi Memorial

The first edition of the Strangolagalli Painting Extempore took place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, as a memorial in honor of Professor Franco Tomassi. The village in the province of Frosinone transformed for a day into an open-air gallery: visitors were able to walk among the painters' stations, who arrived from all over the Ciociaria region, watch the works take shape, and rediscover the village's scenic spots with fresh eyes.

The day included painting workshops for children and concluded at sunset with the awarding of the best painter by a jury of experts. The evening then continued in Piazza Elena with the fourth edition of StranGusto, the Pro Loco's street food festival, featuring Ciociaria specialties, food stands, and a DJ set by Valerio Lo Biondo, following the previous evening's concert dedicated to the hits of 883.
