Strade in Canto 2025, the first Gaetano Torresi Memorial
From July 4 to 6, 2025, the historic centre of Giulianova hosted the first edition of Strade in Canto - 1st Gaetano Torresi Memorial, promoted by the Corale Braga - I Caferza group with the patronage of the Municipality of Giulianova. The event fulfilled the great wish of Torresi, the founder and heart of the group, who passed away in October 2024.
The programme featured, on July 4, the final recital of the "Musica è" school, a performance by I Caferza, and a DJ set; on July 5, "Il Laccio d'Amore" from Penna Sant'Andrea with choreography by the Musici; and on July 6, the concert by Lagabrigante starting at 9:00 PM. The evenings were accompanied by food stalls, a craft market, a folk dance seminar, and the accordion competition valid for the Italian Championship in the Buozzi hall.
