Stracollina Trail 2025: the fourth edition

The fourth edition of the Stracollina Trail took place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Mottola, with the meeting point and start at 9:00 AM at Tenuta Donna Teresa in the Sterpina district. The 16 km course with approximately 280 meters of elevation gain crossed the Bosco di Sant'Antuono, Parco Sant'Elia, and the rock-hewn village of San Vito, serving as the final stage of the regional Puglia Trail circuit.

Among the approximately 400 participants in the competitive race, the overall victory went to Antonino Maggisano (Marathon Cosenza), marking his fourth consecutive success with a record time of 1h02'53", while Piera Pastore (Podistica Parabita) won in the women's category. The day concluded with refreshments featuring local products and a great community atmosphere.

Meeting point and start at 9:00 AM from Tenuta Donna Teresa (Sterpina district). Competitive 16 km race on dirt tracks (approx. 280 m elevation gain) and a 9 km reduced route for walkers. Followed by awards ceremony and refreshments with local specialties.
