Stracittadina of Avezzano

The 12th edition of the Stracittadina of Avezzano took place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, attracting approximately 450 athletes from Abruzzo and other Italian regions along a route that crossed the iconic landmarks of the city center. The 10 km competitive race was won by Lorenzo Dell'Orefice (Atletica Vomano); for the Libertas National Trophy, Aurora Ermini won the women's category and Luca Parisi the men's.

Alongside the race, the rich side program offered a non-competitive run supporting LILT, charity walks with local associations, the Stracittadina Junior for children, an eco-jogging event with waste collection, the MarsArte open-air art gallery, FAI historical visits to the town hall, and evening entertainment with the band Magia 90 and a DJ set. A day described as "unforgettable" by the organizers, in the name of sport, solidarity, and culture.
