The Stracittadina di Capistrello 2025 took place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM from the town center in the province of L'Aquila. The race, organized by the Polisportiva Atletica Capistrello, featured the usual 9.6 km city circuit, divided into four 2.4 km laps, attracting athletes from all over Central Italy.

In the men's category, Lamiri Amin (Polisportiva Atletica Capistrello) won with a time of 28:20, ahead of Manuele Scala (ASD Berrunning, 29:29) and Riccardo Salone (30:10). In the women's field, Emma Cardarelli took the win, followed by Sonia Quattracchi and Mariele Costantini. The Polisportiva Atletica Capistrello won the 2025 AICS Abruzzo Trophy as the best club. There was a large turnout of spectators along the route, with a live broadcast on a giant screen in the square and tastings of local products closing the day.
