Stracittadina Città dell'Aquila

The 11th edition of the Stracittadina Città dell'Aquila, organized by ASD Atletica Abruzzo L'Aquila, was held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with a meeting point at the Villa Comunale from 8:30 AM and a start at 10:00 AM from Viale di Collemaggio. The event featured a competitive race on a course of approximately 9.9 km, a non-competitive trial, and the Stracittadina dedicated to children up to 15 years old. The 2025 edition served as the UISP regional championship, with awards for the top three overall finishers, by category, and for the largest teams. In 2025, the race once again crossed the streets and squares of L'Aquila's historic center, in the province of L'Aquila, confirming the strong bond between sport and the city's rebirth.
