2025 Edition: three days of wonder in the woods

The second edition of the festival dedicated to Gianni Rodari was held in Manziana from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, 2025, between the municipal library and the Bosco di Macchia Grande.

The opening, on Friday afternoon, was entrusted to «The Night of the Puppets in the Library», a magical evening designed for the little ones, followed in the evening by a theatrical walk in the woods. Saturday was the busiest day: a family bike ride with a bicycle repair workshop, a long session of nature games at the Fontanile di Mezza Macchia, kite making workshops, botanical painting and creative knitting, readings in the woods, and figure theatre performances, including the Teatro Verde with its mobile sets.

Sunday, May 25, saw the emotional conclusion: «Sounds in the Woods», a symphonic concert with about forty musicians from the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia orchestra, conducted by Maestro Emanuele Stracchi, performed among the trees of the forest.

All events were free, with reservations required for limited-capacity activities. The festival, conceived by Fernanda Pessolano with Ti con Zero ETS, was promoted by the DMO Beltur - Laghi di Roma with the Municipality of Manziana and the support of the Lazio Region.
