Stonemasons Festival at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso

The 2025 edition of the Stonemasons Festival was held on Saturday, August 16th, in Boleto, a district of Madonna del Sasso (VB). As every year, the community gathered at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso for the solemn Mass, followed by the procession to the Stonemason Monument and the remembrance of the master stonemasons who shaped the history of this Cusio village. The festival concluded with the traditional lunch in the village streets, a moment of strong conviviality that has brought together residents, hikers, and visitors for decades. In the background, the panorama of Lake Orta and the Stonemason Museum stand as witnesses to the identity of a land shaped by granite.
