Stimigliano Sweets Festival

The 2025 edition of the Stimigliano Sweets Festival took place as per tradition on the second weekend of October, in the historic center of Stimigliano, a village in the Bassa Sabina region in the province of Rieti. The event, organized by the association of the village's mothers, grandmothers, and granddaughters with the support of the Municipality, proposed the proven formula of recent editions: opening of stalls from the morning, live preparation of sweets at the village oven, and the sale of ciambellini di magro, ferratelle, wine-infused ciambelline, paste tedesche with blackberry jam, and fruit-shaped treats.

There was no shortage of collective celebration: pastry workshops for children, popular tournaments, and, in the evening, food stalls with the flavors of Sabina accompanied by live music. A public success that confirms the festival as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Rieti area of Lazio.
